Jewish Voice for Peace Artists' Council
In September of 2014, forty artists, most, but not all of us Jewish, gathered in Connecticut to form the Artists' Council of Jewish Voice for Peace. As artists in many genres, committed to a world of peace and justice, we wanted to think and work together, using our varied talents and our expertise as makers of culture to change the way people in the United States think about Palestine/Israel, support the efforts of the Palestinian and Israeli people who want a just and peaceful society, and challenge the Jewish right's attempts to monopolize and control Jewish identity and culture in the United States.
Our plans include an online curated gallery, with monthly exhibits of art in all genres, and a host of individual and collaborative projects. You can visit our web site to see what we're working on.
